The Seven Bridges area has a rich and unusual past. Over the coarse of 50 years the Peschkes family (of Rapid City) groomed and developed a 300+ acre tract of pristine land and river for the memories and enjoyment of generations.
Located on Valley Road between Kalkaska and Rapid City, this short hike offers tranquil sitting areas and sounds of water without a long walk. Bring a camera!
Making use on an old rail way, the Skegemog Swamp Pathway takes you into the natural beauty very few people get to see first hand. The Pathway cross' a swamp with running water and lush vegetation by way of wooden walkways and bridges. The air is fresh with the aroma of cedar and pine trees as well as flowers and other plants.
