Log Lake
Just 1 mile outside of the Village of Kalkaska (East on County Road 612), Log Lake provides convenient and varied outdoor activities; camping, fishing, swimming, and lounging to name a few. Twin Birch Golf Course is located right across 612 from the Log Lake Park entrance.
Camping
The park has 40 sites (10 sites have sewer and electricity).
Clean-rooms, showers, and bathrooms are easily accessible. There are
also 2 pavilions available for get-to-gathers. To make camping or
pavilion reservations, call 231-258-2940.
Fishing
Large Mouth Bass are regularly pulled from the lake.
Special Note
The fellows in the kayaks (when they're not kayaking) are craftsmen with
stone counter surfaces. Many of the areas premier kitchens contain
tough and beautiful granite countertops from
Northern Granite.
